Cheesy Crockpot Potato Layers Recipe
1/2 tsp of paprika
1 canned cream of mushroom soup (condensed, 10.75 oz)
4 pcs of potatoes (medium, 1.25 lbs); cut into 1/4-inch slices
1 c of Cheddar cheese; shredded
1/2 tsp of pepper
Slightly grease the crockpot with butter. Assemble overlapping layers of sliced potatoes at the bottom of the crockpot. Top with shredded (or grated) Cheddar. Set aside.
Meanwhile, combine cream of mushroom soup with pepper and paprika in one medium-sized bowl. Whisk ’til blended well. Pour mixture onto the cheese and potato layers. Cover with lid.
Set the crock pot control to low. Cook ’til potatoes become tender but firm. This usually takes 3-4 hours. To keep the potatoes warm, just maintain the low setting ’til ready to serve.
