Chicken and Pasta Crockpot Soup Recipe
2 pcs of onions; sliced
3 pcs of carrots; chopped
2 tsps of salt
1/4 tsp of ground black pepper
1/2 tsp of basil
1/4 tsp of leaf thyme leaf
3 Tbsps of parsley flakes (dry)
1 pkg of peas (frozen, 10 oz)
1 chicken breast fillet (2.5 – 3 lbs); diced
4 c of water/chicken stock
1 c of pasta (bowtie or macaroni)
2 stalks of celery; cut diagonally into 1/4-inch slices
Place the chicken, onions, carrots, celery, salt, ground black pepper, basil, thyme, parsley flakes, peas, and chicken stock into the crockpot. Stir well. Cover with lid. Set the heat to low. Cook for 8-10 hours.
Remove the cover. Toss in the pasta. Put on the lid again; and continue cooking for 2 more hours.
