Chicken Barbecue Wings Recipe
16 pcs of chicken wings (3 lbs); rinsed, drained, wing tips removed & cut at the joints
Salt & pepper
1.5 c of barbecue sauce
1/4 c of honey
2 tsps of prepared (or spicy) mustard
2 tsps of Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp of Tabasco
Combine pepper and salt in one medium-sized bowl. Toss in the chicken. Mix well. Transfer the chicken parts to a broiler pan.
Cook it about 5 inches away from the heat ’til evenly golden (approximately 15-20 minutes). When done, toss the chicken into the crockpot. Set aside.
Place the mustard, honey, Worcestershire sauce, barbecue sauce, and Tabasco in one small bowl. Whisk ’til blended well. Pour this mixture over the chicken. Cover with lid. Set heat to low.
Cook for about 3-5 hours, stirring occasionally. Transfer to a platter and garnish with a sprig of parsley.
