Chicken Crockpot A La King Recipe II
1 canned cream of chicken soup
1/4 tsp of ground black pepper
1 lb of chicken breast fillets; cubed
1 celery rib; sliced
1/2 c of green bell pepper; chopped
1/4 c of onion; minced
1 pkg of peas (frozen, 10 oz); thawed
cooked rice (hot)
2 Tbsps of pimentos; cut into small cubes & strained
1/2 tsp of cayenne pepper
Mix together the cream of chicken soup, ground black pepper, cayenne pepper and flour in the crockpot ’til smooth. Add the chicken, to be followed by chopped celery, green bell pepper, and chopped onions.
Stir well. Cover with lid. Set heat to low. Cook for 6-7 hours. Add the pimiento and peas. Stir well. Use as topping for baked rice meal.
