Chicken Crockpot Cacciatore Recipe II
1 pc of onion (large); sliced thinly
1.5 lbs of chicken breast fillet; skin removed
8 oz mushrooms (fresh); sliced
1/2 tsp of salt
2 garlic cloves; minced
1/4 tsp of pepper
1/2 tsp of basil
1 tsp of oregano
1/4 c of dry white wine
1 bay leaf
1/4 c of water
2 canned tomato paste (6 oz each)
Form a bed of onions on the bottom of the crockpot. Top it with chicken. Combine the rest of the ingredients in a small bowl. Stir ’til mixed well. Pour evenly over the chicken. Put the lid on. Set heat to low. Cook for 6-8 hours. May be served with fried rice or over pasta.
