Crockpot Chicken in Wine Recipe
4 lbs of chicken breast fillet; cut into 1/2-inch slices
1 pc of onion; minced
1 pc of green bell pepper; sliced
1 pc of tomato (medium ripe); skinned and chopped
A dash of cayenne pepper
1 c of dry white wine
2 garlic cloves; chopped
Combine the chicken with chopped onions, garlic, green bell pepper, tomatoes, white wine, and cayenne pepper in the crockpot. Mix well. Cover with lid. Set heat to low. Cook it for 7-8 hours (’til chicken is tender), stirring occasionally. May be used as topping for steamed rice.
