Crockpot Chili con Carne Recipe V
60 to 70 oz of kidney beans (light or dark); washed
1 lb of beef; ground, cooked & washed
16 oz of tomatoes; skinned & sliced
16 oz of tomato paste
1/2 onion (small); minced
1 green pepper (small); minced
1 tsp of Cayenne pepper
1 pkg of chili seasoning
Combine all ingredients in a crockpot. Mix well. Cover with lid. Set heat to low. Cook for 8-10 hours (’til beans are tender), stirring occasionally. May be served with garlic sauce, tortilla and cheese.
