Crockpot Custard Recipe

Crockpot Custard Recipe

3 pcs. eggs, beaten lightly
1/3 c. sugar
2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. nutmeg (ground)

Onto a bowl, mix together milk, vanilla, sugar and eggs then pour this mixture onto a butter-greased 1 or 1.5 qt. baking or a souffle dish, that can fit inside your crockpot and follow with a sprinkling of nutmeg.

Put inside your pot a ring of foil (aluminum) or rack and add in 1.5-2 cups heated water inside your pot. Your baking/souffle dish should be covered with some of the foil then placed onto your rack inside your pot.

Cook, covered, at high settings for about 2.5-3 hrs. or just until the mixture has set.

This recipe makes 4-6 servings.
