Marmalade-Glazed Carrots Recipe
1 (32-ozs.) baby carrots (fresh)
1/4 tsp. of nutmeg
2 tbsps. of sugar (brown)
1 tbsp. of water
1/2 tsp. of cinnamon
1 tbsp. of cornstarch
1 tbsp. of butter
2 tbsps. of water
1/2 c. of marmalade
Pepper & salt for seasoning
Mix together all your ingredients, aside from cornstarch & 2 tbsps. water, inside your crockpot then cook at low settings for about 7-9 hrs. just until the carrots become tenderized. 15 mins. prior to serving, combine water and cornstarch to make pasty mixture then add to your pot. Season well.
This dish makes 4-6 servings if served as accompanying side dish.
