Pheasant and Wild Rice Recipe
1 c. of wild rice (raw)
2/5 c. of water
A can of mushrooms
A can of soup (cream of mushroom)
A can of soup (cream of chicken)
2 pcs. pheasants, with the cut sides facing up (floured & browned)
1 package of instant soup mix (onion)
Blend together canned soups, mushrooms, water and rice inside your Crockpot. Next, add in pheasants to your Crockpot. Finish with a sprinkling of the instant onion mix.
Cook covered at low settings for 6-8 hrs. Pour in a bit of water when rice seems to be a bit dry when the dish is almost cooked.
