Slow-Cooked Broccoli Recipe
2 (10-oz.) pkgs. of frozen broccoli, partly thawed up & chopped
1.5 c. of sharp cheese (cheddar), shredded then divide into 2 parts
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can of undiluted condensed soup (cream of celery)
2 tbsps. of margarine/butter
1/4 c. of onion, chopped
1/4 tsp. of pepper
1/2 tsp. of Worcestershire
1 c. of crackers (butter flavored), crushed
On a bowl, mix together pepper, Worcestershire, onion, 1 c. of cheese, soup and broccoli. Pour onto your lightly greased Crockpot then sprinkle crackers atop then place dots of butter all over.
Cook covered at high settings for about 2.5-3 hrs. Then, finish with a sprinkling of cheese atop. Cook for another 10 mins. or just until cheese melts.
Makes 8 to 10 portions.
