Stuffed Green Peppers Recipe
1 (10-oz.) pkg. of kernels of corn (frozen)
6 pcs. of seeded green bell pepper, take off the tops
1/4 teaspoon of salt
2 c. of cheese (Cheddar, low-fat), divided
1/2 teaspoon of pepper
1 (15-oz.) can of drained beans (red kidney), washed
1 teaspoon of Worcestershire
1 (14.5 oz.) can of tomatoe, diced
1/4 c. of onions, chopped
1/4 c. of salsa
1.5 c. of rice, cooked
In a bowl, mix together all the ingredients aside from the green peppers and 1/4 c. of cheese. Next, stuff your peppers and arrange them inside your Crockpot.
Cook covered at low settings for 6 to 8 hrs. or if cooking at high settings then cook time is 3 to 4 hrs. 30 mins. before the dish is done, finish with a sprinkling of 1/4 c. of the cheese.
This dish serves 6.
